RMA’s President, Dr. William Adams, has retired after 28 years of service. Dr. Adams will continue to provide his expertise with the mathematical and statistical underpinnings of prenatal screening to RMA in a consulting role.

“It’s been a pleasure working with Bill, and his leadership has served the company and its customers well,” said Candace Shoemaker, Managing Director of RMA.

With Dr. Adams’s departure, the headquarters of RMA have moved from Concord, Massachusetts, where Dr. Adams’s offices were, to Ithaca, New York, where the rest of the company has resided since 2007. Its official corporate name in the state of New York is now Robert Maciel Associates LLC. Contact information for sales and technical support remain the same, as does the corporate web site, at http://rma4u.com.

RMA will continue to support and develop its products, including its flagship software application for Windows, Maciel Prenatal Interpreter 9 (MPI).

“I’m glad we will continue to have Bill’s input on future development,” said Timothy Weber, lead application developer for MPI and Dr. Adams’s successor as Technical Director. “His presence in this application area for decades gives him a wide perspective on the issues, and it’s given the software the solidity and reliability it’s known for.”

Dr. Adams looks forward to spending time traveling and with his family.
